Meals on Wheels

Throughout America many people rely on Meals on Wheels to provide some meals for those that are unable to travel to the grocery store, are unable to cook their own meals due to their age, disability or a natural disaster such as Hurricane Katrina. This organization will bring provide hot meals to individuals that otherwise might go hungry.

The Meals on Wheels programs in New Orleans that provide this service include:

New Orleans Council On Aging located at 1111 Newton Street #101 in New Orleans – 504-361-0844

New Orleans Council On Aging, INC. located at 2475 Canal Street #400 in New Orleans – 504-821-4121

Pontchartrain Senior Center located at 6520 Congress Drive in New Orleans – 504-288-8118
