Along with this program, many senior citizens centers offer transportation needs for seniors and those with disabilities.

Some of the senior centers in New Orleans or the surrounding area include:

Senior Citizen Center – Hammond, Louisiana – 985-345-5000
Senior Citizen Center – Independence, Louisiana – 985-878-4385
Sun Senior Citizen Center – Bogalusa, Louisiana – 985-886-9164
Lower Algiers Senior Citizens Center – New Orleans, Louisiana – 504-393-0709

Seniors of those with disabilities can contact the various senior centers to learn about travel aid within their community. Many times, the centers have lists of agencies that aid those unable to travel due to age or disabilities.
